Regional Trauma Meeting – July 2024
The Regional Trauma Meeting (RTM) marked an important step in strengthening trauma care collaboration across the region. It brought together multidisciplinary stakeholders to align priorities, share system-level experiences, and advance trauma care frameworks.
Eastern Mediterranean Trauma Round Table (EMTRT1) – February 2025
A landmark global gathering hosted in Doha, EMTRT1 convened over 400 participants from 25+ countries, including leaders from mature and developing trauma systems.
- Focused on trauma systems development, education, and accreditation
- Enabled structured country-level system analysis and expert dialogue
- Led to a regional consensus on 5 priority areas:
