Onder Canguven
Dr Canguven trained in urology at Kartal Teaching Hospital, Istanbul and became a consultant urologist there in 2003. He did his fellowship in Johns Hopkins University in 2008. He was made Associate Professor of Urology in 2011 in Turkey and moved to the Hamad Medical Corporation in 2013. He got Assistant Professor of clinical urology title in Weill Cornell Medical College, NY, USA in 2015. He is core faculty and member of Men’s health committee in Hamad Medical Corporation.
His surgical practice devoted to prosthetic urology principally for the management of erectile dysfunction, urinary incontinence and penile diseases. He is reviewer of 14 internationally well-known journals. He reviewed 22 papers in 2016 and is found in the first 3 most evaluating reviewers in Qatar. He is also associate editor of Turkish Journal of Urology. He has 50 publications in peer reviewed journals. His papers are most commonly related with male sexual functions and health. His current main research interests include studying low testosterone and Vitamin D. His articles were cited more than 400 times.
