You are invited to submit abstracts for consideration at the 2nd Qatar International Infectious Disease Conference 2024. We encourage submissions that align with the following infectious disease themes:
- Antimicrobial stewardship
- Bacterial infections
- Viral infections
- Fungal infections
- Parasitic infections
- Antimicrobial susceptibility and resistance
- Diagnostic microbiology
- Pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of antimicrobial agents
- Public health related topics
- Infection control and prevention
- Vaccines and vaccinology
- Immunology
General Tips for Abstract Submission:
- Abstract should be structured as (Background/ Methods / Results/ Conclusion/ References).
In case reports/series: (Background /Case Presentation/ Discussion, References).
- Abstracts should be submitted in English language, using simple fonts (such as Arial or Calibri) and proofread before submission.
- Maximum of 300 words are allowed excluding title, authors, references.
(Abstracts exceeding the maximum word count will be rejected).
- May include up to 3 figures/tables and should be cited in the abstract text (ensure high resolution images)
- References should be listed numerically (Vancouver format) at the end of the abstract in their order of citation in the text (maximum 3 references)
- Duplicate abstract submissions for the same project will be rejected.
- Original Abstracts, case reports, case series are accepted
