
Dr. Nesrine Rizk
Dr. Rizk currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine, specializing in Infectious Diseases, at the Department of Internal Medicine at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC).
She earned her MD degree at AUB and pursued training in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases at Case Western Reserve University. Additionally, she received specialized training in HIV/AIDS Medicine.
In 2012, she returned to Lebanon and became an integral part of the medical group practice within the Infectious Disease Division at AUBMC.
She is the Director of the ID Fellowship Training Program at AUBMC and assumed the leadership of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program at AUBMC, where she advocates for responsible antibiotic use, addressing a critical global healthcare concern. She is involved in several research projects in the fields of AMS and HIV/AIDS medicine.
