Dr. Khalifa N. Alwahaibi is Senior Consultant, General and Vascular Surgery, Sultan Qaboos University Hospital Assistant, and is a Member of the Scientific Committee for General Surgery, Oman Medical Specialty Board. He is also Course Director for the Basic Surgical Skills Course and the Advanced Trauma Life Support Course.
Dr. Alwahaibi completed his General Surgery Residency from McGill University and his Vascular and Endovascular Fellowship from the University of Ottawa. He obtained Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada in General Surgery in 2005 and the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada in General and Vascular Surgery in 2006.
He is the author or co-author of numerous peer-reviewed papers.
