Dr. Mohammed Al-Ghamdi
Director General – Nursing Affairs General Department- Ministry of Health (Saudi Arabia)
Dr. Mohammed Alghamdi is the President of the Saudi Nurses Association and General Director of Nursing at the Saudi Ministry of Health. He is also an adjunct assistant professor at Almaarefa University. Dr. Alghamdi holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from the Jordan University of Science and Technology (2009) and completed his PhD in Nursing Leadership and Healthcare Innovation from the University of San Diego (2017). Honored with the Nursing Excellence Award (Nusaybah bint Ka’b Award) by the GCC Health Ministers’ Council in 2012, he also received the DAISY Award for Nursing Leadership in 2022. Dr. Alghamdi has an extensive publication record in nursing leadership, work environment, and clinical quality, serving as a reviewer for respected journals. With over 28 years in nursing leadership, he has led various advisory committees, including the Arab Advisory Committee for Nursing and Midwifery, and contributes to multiple academic advisory councils in Saudi universities.
