Dr. Shaimaa Arroub, MD
Dr. Shaimaa Arroub graduated from Dubai Medical Collage - U.A.E. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Hamad Medical Corporation in 2015, with Arab Board of Health Specializations Certification. She attained a postgraduate diploma in Diabetes in January 2018 from St George’s University- London. She is currently an Associate consultant in Endocrinology department at Hamad General Hospital.
Dr. Arroub has gained a special interest in Diabetes care and Transplant. Currently she is part of Islet cell Transplant Team in Qatar. She is also running Endocrine & Diabetes Clinic in Transplant patients who needs special care & Follow up.
She participated in research projects, with her latest involving studying genetics versus environmental causes of diabetes in Qatar. She has participated several times in community education initiatives about diabetes. Dr. Arroub’s current mission is making a significant contribution to Qatar’s health community; together with striving towards having a major impact on patient care in order to develop a healthier, more vibrant life in the local community and beyond.
