He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt in 1995.He finished his residency program and got his Master Degree in 1999 and his Doctorate Degree (PhD) in the field of Diagnostic Imaging in 2004. He was appointed Assistant professor of Diagnostic Imaging in 2010.
He received several training courses and has had active involvement in the intradepartmental teaching program in the Department of Clinical Imaging – HMC, teaching Weill Cornell Medical Students rotating in HMC. furthermore, he have a strong research record in the field of Diagnostic Imaging evolved as a result of his authorship or co-authorship of over 28 publications in national and internationally circulated peer reviewed publications.
He is also a reviewer for APMIS and Medical Science Monitor Journals, member of Egyptian Radiology Society and an invited speaker in different national and international conferences.
