Mohamed AbdelWahab Elarref

Dr. Mohamed AbdelWahab Elarrefis currently Sr. Consultant, Department of Anesthesiology, ICU and Perioperative Medicine in Hamad Medical Corporation, a position he has held since 2001. He is also the Assistant Professor in anesthesia and the intensive care department, WCMC in Qatar, since 2009 to date. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Tanta University, Egypt 1980, and further pursued residency in anesthesia and the intensive care department. He got his MSc degree and MD degree in anesthesia and intensive care department in the same college. Currently, Dr. Elarref is a Prof. Anaesthesiology/ICU, Faculty of Medicine, TU, Egypt He has publications in peer review journals and he is the program director of the advanced clinical anesthesia and perioperative medicine fellowship at Hamad Medical Corporation at the Anesthesia Department, ICU and Perioperative Medicine. He got a diploma in clinical informatics and he is IT lead in the department. His areas of interest include colorectal, thoracic and regional anesthesia.
