Barry Solaiman is an Assistant Professor of law at HBKU College of Law specialising in Healthcare Law, Injury Law and Constitutional Law. He undertook his PhD at the University of Cambridge on political corruption and lobbying.
He was Editor-in-Chief of the Cambridge International Law Journal, worked in Hong Kong as a teacher in 2013, was awarded a Master's Degree in Commercial Law at Durham University in 2012 and was called to the London Bar in 2011. He has been invited to present at Harvard Law School, the World Congress of Constitutional Law, the Society of Legal Scholars Conference, the Centre for Public Law at the University of Cambridge and the British Association of Comparative Law at the University of Oxford.
In Qatar, he has assisted the Ministry of Public Health, local hospitals and is co-director of the WCMQ Intersection of Law and Medicine Series.
