Professor Maritta Valimaki

Professor Valimaki has long academic experience and track records in research and teaching. Professor Valimaki has started her academic career in 1991. Since then she has hold different academic positions and in 2005, Valimaki has acted as a professor at the University of Turku, Finland. Currently, professor Valimaki is acting as Associate Head of the School of Nursing and the Chair of the Research Committee at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She has also a Honorary Appointment at the University of Tampere, Finland, Visiting Professor at St. George's, University of London, UK, and at the Xiang Ya Nursing School, Central South University, China. Professor Valimaki's research interest addresses topics related to mental health, information technology, outcome studies, and systematic reviews. Professor Valimaki serves as a member of various key academic boards (e.g. Cochrane Schizophrenia Group, the Academy of Finland) and wide global networks.
