Prof. Moune Jabre
Assistant Professor of Clinical OB/Gyn, Weil Cornell Medicine – Qatar
Dr. Moune Jabre joined Weill-Cornell Medicine – Qatar in 2015 as Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Jabre obtained her Doctor of Medicine with honors from Boston University School of Medicine in 2005 then completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Brown University / Women and Infants Hospital of Rhode Island, USA. She then joined the academic generalist faculty as Assistant Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Brown University / Women and Infants Hospital.
Dr Jabre’s dedication to training Brown University medical students and residents in academic excellence is evidenced by numerous “Excellence in Teaching” Awards. Dr. Jabre is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and remains licensed to practice in Rhode Island.
Since joining WCM-Q, Dr. Jabre has served as the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clerkship Director, Unit Leader for Reproduction in the Health, Illness and Disease course, and Co-Director of the Near-Peer Tutoring Program since 2016. Academic interests include simulation, remediation and mentoring.
