Ms. Salma Khaled 
Assistant Professor, Social and Economic Survey Research Institute, Qatar University

Dr. Salma Khaled graduated with a PhD in Community Health Sciences with a specialization in Epidemiology from the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She has strong background in survey research methods and applied survey data analysis. Her research experience spans a variety of academic, research, and healthcare settings. She worked for various organizations within Canada including Statistics Canada, the Health Quality Council of Alberta, and the Libin Cardiovascular Institute of Alberta. Her research interests focus on the interplay between Mental Health, Mental Illness, and Chronic Physical Conditions in the general population. She currently holds a full-time position as an Assistant Professor with the Social and Economic Survey Research Institute at Qatar University.
