KEITH HARDING
Prof. Keith has had a longstanding interest in wound healing. He has undergone training in both general surgery and general practice. In 2014, he was appointed as Medical Director of the Welsh Wound Innovation Centre. His clinical practice is exclusively focused on treating patients with wound healing problems with a wide range of aetiologies. He has authored over 350 publications in the field of wound healing and has written several chapters and books in this area. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Wound Journal published by Wiley.
MOHIT BHANDARI
Dr. Bhandari currently serves as Chair, Department Surgery at McMaster University. He is a designated University Scholar at McMaster to recognize his excellence as an academic surgeon and scientist. He is the Associate Chair of Research in the Department of Surgery and holds a Canada Research Chair in Evidence-Based Orthopaedics-the only chair of its kind in Canada. He has been acknowledged among the top 10 most cited orthopaedic fracture surgeons in the world. Dr Bhandari has published over 1000 papers and has led-edited several of his field’s major research textbooks.
JAMIE FERGUSON
Dr. Jamie Ferguson is a consultant working at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in the UK. He works in the Bone Infection Unit at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre and in the Major Trauma Centre at the John Radcliffe Hospital. His practice is in bone infection, limb reconstruction, and trauma surgery. His research interests include limb reconstruction techniques, osteomyelitis, fracture-related infection, local antibiotic carriers, and fracture non-union.
JOHNNY LAU
Dr. Lau holds a specialist certificate in Orthopaedic Surgery from The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. With a background in biochemistry from the University of Alberta, and a Doctor of Medicine and Master of Science from the University of Toronto. He is an assistant professor and the Director of the University of Toronto Foot and Ankle program, and the Divisional Clinical Fellowship Coordinator for all orthopaedic surgery fellowships at the University of Toronto.

ANAS ABABNEH
Dr. Anas Ababneh holds PhD in Nursing from the Queensland University of Technology (Brisbane-Australia) in 2021. Dr. Anas also holds a Master of Science in Diabetic Foot Care in 2009 from the National Institute for Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Genetics (University of Jordan).
Dr. Anas worked as a specialised nurse (diabetic foot and wounds), clinical educator, and lecturer at the National Center for Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Genetics (Amman-Jordan) for nine years (2007-2016).
KYLIE SANDY HODGETTS
Kylie is Associate Professor, Centre for Molecular Medicine & Innovative Therapeutics, Murdoch University and Honorary Senior Lecturer, School of Medicine, Cardiff University. She is Founder and President of a not-for-profit association, the International Surgical Wound Complications Advisory Panel (ISWCAP). ISWCAP’s vision is to generate awareness of surgical wound complications and improve outcomes for patients through early detection, and prevention via education and research with an international panel of experts. Kylie is Chief Investigator of several clinical trials ranging from Phase 1 first in human studies to phase 3-4 comparative effectiveness trials. Kylie’s research focuses upon early identification, prevention and management of surgical wound complications including surgical site infection (SSI) and surgical wound dehiscence (SWD). Kylie has Chaired and co-authored over 5 international clinical consensus documents, first authored over 20 original research papers and chaired the ISWCAP Best Practice Statement on the early identification and prevention of surgical wound complications. She is a regular review for many peer reviewed journals and sits on a number of journal editorial boards.
She is a Past Chair of the Board of Wounds Australia and currently serves on a number of national and international boards including the World Union of Wound Healing Societies Executive Board as Recorder and the Scientific and Ethics Committee.
Kylie is current Chair of the Australian National Steering Committee Surgical Wounds Panel and Wound Research Directory for the Australian Health Research Alliance National Wound Care Initiative (2020-2025). She was recently acknowledged internationally for her contribution to the field of surgical site infection prevention as the 2021 Winner of the JWC World Union Innovation in Surgical Site Infection Award.
GULNAZ TARIQ
Gulnaz Tariq is a President for WUWHS and CEO of IIWCG was working as Assistant Director of Nursing in Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) Abu Dhabi. She is RN BSc with a Post Grad Dip. She trained as a nurse in the armed forces and graduated with First Position in Province, Post-graduation with HONOURs. She has pursued further international wound care training by joining the International Inter-professional Wound Care Course (IIWCC) from University of Toronto (IR) in 2007. She has completed her MSc in Skin Integrity from University of Hertfordshire (UK) in 2014.
As a wound care educator, clinician and clinical researcher she is a local, Regional and international key opinion leader and Speaker. Gulnaz is the founder (2015) and course director of the Ostomy Care and Management (OCM). She is a chapter co- author of the Chronic Wound Care textbook of the 5th edition. She has over 20 publications. Gulnaz introduced a diabetic foot prevention program and pressure ulcer prevention program in SKMC. She has organized the Abu Dhabi Wound Care Conference for the past 15 years. She was appointed as the current course Co Director for the IIWCC for UAE from University of Toronto. Gulnaz is Founder of International Inter-professional wound care Group (IIWCG) and was elected to be CEO of IIWCG. She is member for ISWCAP and was Director for Middle East for ISTAP.
As a wound healer, she networks throughout the world to support and make a difference in wound healing. In 2021 appointed as Clinical advisor for Debra Pakistan.

She has experience of 14 years in wound management and Ostomy care, Founder and team leader of WOC team in MNGHA-CR. She Completed BS in chemistry and BS in nursing from KSA. MS. Alsaleh has Post master studies in wound, ostomy, and continence, Certified board exam in chronic wound and ostomy care from WOCNS, USA, Member in WOCN society, USA . Member in American Professional Wound Care Academy, USA.
