Objectives and Overview

The Best of ASCO 2025 in Qatar aims to provide participants with the most up-to-date expert consensus and research findings relevant to treating and managing both common and rare cancers within the Qatari healthcare context.

The objectives of the conference are to:

  • Enable HMC cancer professionals to identify and critically evaluate the latest research findings on common tumors, such as breast, colon, lung, and prostate, and assess their implications for clinical practice and treatment decision-making.
  • Identify and assess current research related to the care and management of rare cancers, including neurological, head and neck, urological, gynecological, and sarcomas, to enhance clinical practice and improve patient outcomes.
  • Examine the impact of recent advances in emerging therapeutic areas, such as immunotherapy, molecular precision medicine, and tumor biology, on cancer practice and research at HMC.
  • Explore evolving symptom management and survivorship approaches to guide the continued development and optimization of cancer services across HMC.​
