J. Warner
David J. Warner is Director, Center on Practice Development in the Practice Advancement Office at the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), Bethesda, Maryland. Until 1 July, 2015, he was Director, International Residency Program Development, in the Accreditation Services Office.
He returned to ASHP in July 2014 after serving as an Associate Chief Pharmacy Officer and Director of Pharmacy Education at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina from March 2010. For the 12 years prior to that, Dr. Warner was Director, Residency Program Development at the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists in Bethesda, Maryland.
Dr. Warner received his doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Pharmacy in 1987 and completed a clinical pharmacy residency there in 1988. He was a clinical pharmacist at University Hospital, University of Nebraska Medical Center, and adjunct faculty member in the College of Pharmacy at UNMC.
