Dr. Moamena El-Matbouly graduated from Weill Cornell Medical College in 2013. She completed her general surgery training in Hamad General Hospital. During her training she assumed the role of the chief resident for the general surgery department and was enrolled in multiple events and conferences.
She has been an active member in multiple research projects and has multiple publications in journals like Obesity Surgery, World Journal of Emergency Surgery and Surgeon: Journal of The Royal Colleges of Surgeons of Edinburgh an Ireland. She is currently Arab Board certified in general surgery and wishes to pursue a career in minimally invasive and foregut surgery.
