Abstract


We invite researchers, clinicians, and healthcare professionals to submit abstracts for presentation at the High Risk and Critical Care Obstetrics Conference 2025, taking place on September 12-13, 2025 at Le Royal Meridien, Lusail, Doha, Qatar.


This is an excellent opportunity to share your research, innovations, and case studies with a global audience of experts in obstetrics, maternal- fetal medicine, and critical care.

We are seeking high-quality abstracts that showcase:

  • Original Research
  • Case Reports or Case Series
  • Quality Improvement Projects
  • Clinical Effectiveness Research
  • Medical Education and Healthcare Service Development
  • Nursing Service Development or Care Practices
  • Traditional Audits (must meet a high standard of quality to be considered)
  • You can opt for your abstract to be eligible for:
  • Oral Presentation: Engage with an 8-minute presentation selected from abstract submissions.
  • Poster: Follow scientific poster formats, excluding previously published projects.

If your submission isn’t chosen for an oral presentation, you will automatically be invited to submit it as a poster. Certificates/Prizes will be awarded in both oral and poster categories. Specifics about the format for oral and poster presentations will be confirmed after the

submission deadline. This is your opportunity to contribute your insights and showcase your work to peers.

All abstracts will undergo review by the conference scientific committee and peer review, with final selections for oral or poster presentations made by a distinguished panel from the conference scientific planning committee, based on content and criteria stipulated by the committee. Successful candidates will be guided through the next steps.

GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

High Risk and Critical Care Obstetrics Conference 2025

  1. Document format: Only Microsoft Word Documents (doc, docx) are accepted (PDF format is NOT accepted).
  2. Font: Arial, font size: 10.
  3. Page: A4, portrait mode, page margins: normal.
  4. Word count limit: Maximum 350 words (Background & Aim, Methods/Changes in studies for QI, Results, and Conclusions, all inclusive).
  5. The presenting author should be listed first, followed by co-authors.
    Format: “First Name, Middle Initial, Last Name.” Initials should be separated by dots.​
  6. At least one author from each abstract must be registered for the conference and is expected to attend and present either the poster or oral presentation. Each presenter must sign a COI form.
  7. All accepted abstracts will be published in the conference abstract book.

Please follow the format below when writing your abstract content:

ABSTRACT

It must summarize the key points in a maximum of 350 words. It should clearly reflect the purpose/objective, methodology, results, and conclusions of the study separately. The abstract must be written in English using accurate grammar. Abbreviations and acronyms should not be included unless essential, and in such cases, they should be written out in full for clarification. It is recommended to avoid using trade names and symbols.

  • Abstract Title: The title must be concise, informative, and precise.
  • Authors: Provide the name, email, and department/hospital of the primary author, followed by all authors' names in the desired order for inclusion in the final conference program.

Please structure your abstract or case study using the following paragraph title headings:

  • Background: Provide a brief outline of the situation, issue, problem, gap, event, or process/aspect that precipitated the project or best practice that you have adopted. Limit the introduction to a few sentences.
  • Aims/Objective: Clearly state the primary objective of the paper and the main hypothesis tested or research question posed.
  • Design: Describe the study's design and the rationale behind the adopted procedures.
  • Method: Explain how participants were selected, the number of participants, and the methods of data collection and analysis.
  • Results: Present numerical and/or textual data, minimizing the use of tables or figures.
  • Conclusions: State the study's conclusions and implications for future research, practice, policy, and/or theory.
