Dr. Ibrahim Fawzy
Director, Corporate Critical Care Center, Director of MICU, Deputy Medical Director, Ambulance Service and Clinical Lead, Severe Respiratory Failure ECMO Program
Dr. Ibrahim Fawzy graduated from National Medical University with honors and completed his Residency and Fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical College in New York.
Dr. Fawzy joined HMC in 2011 and is currently the Director of the Corporate Critical Care Center, Director of the MICU, Deputy Medical Director of the Hamad Medical Corporation Ambulance Service and the Clinical Lead for the Severe Respiratory Failure ECMO Program. Dr. Fawzy has won several awards during his career, including the Alpha Omega Alpha award from Cornell and The Young Clinician of the Year award from Cleveland Clinic, Middle East.
In his current role, Dr. Fawzy is leading several important projects for HMC, including standardizing critical care services and the ECMO programs.
