I have been working in medical libraries in different countries (UAE, Palestine, and Qatar) since 1986. Currently, Senior Information Literacy Librarian at QU. I was trained and had my Internship at the Harvard Medical School Countway Medical Library, in Boston, Massachusetts. I graduated from Southern Connecticut State University, New Haven, US, in May, 2009, gaining a Master of Library Science (MLS/ALA). I also received an “Exceptional International Student Award” from this university. I took advance medical librarianship class at Simmons College in Boston, MA. Pre joining QU, I was Director of Al Quds University Libraries in Jerusalem. 2006-2009 Library Manager at Harvard Medical School Dubai Center at Dubai Health Care City, !997-2005 Medical Librarian at Tawam Hospital, UAE.
1986-1996 Deputy Academic Librarian at the College of Medical Professions in Palestine Member at the Medical Library Association in the US. As an international speaker at conferences, I presented many talks for librarians and faculty members in different countries as well as US and Canada. Published 2 papers at the Canadian Health Libraries Association.
