Mr Michael Giuliano Executive Director – International Business
BSc, MSc
Mr Giuliano joined ACHS in 2017 from St John of God Health Care in Melbourne. There he
established the group’s Transformation function and lead large complex, organisational programs
such as divisional divestments and workforce optimisation. Before this operational experience,
Michael served as a healthcare management consulting both in Perth and New York focusing on
service commissioning and operational improvements for a range of hospital providers and life
sciences companies. Michael also has a Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma with a focus on healthcare.
Michael holds a joint Master’s degree from the London School of Economics & Political Science and
the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine with a focus on health system planning, policy,
and financing. His thesis focused on the reasons for the rising prevalence of autism spectrum
disorders in the United States. He also received his Bachelor’s degree from The Wharton School at
the University of Pennsylvania where he concentrated on operations and information management
as well as healthcare management and policy.
He has lived abroad in Seoul, South Korea as part of his undergraduate studies and worked for
Asiana Airlines. He looks forward to combining his passion for healthcare with his interest in
international policy to continue to build and strengthen ACHS’ impact internationally.
