Mandy Kilmartin joined Planetree in 2017. As an Associate Director at Planetree International, she is a critical member of the team working to advance the mission of person-centered care around the world. In this role, Mandy provides leadership guidance and organizational coaching, conducts organizational gap analyses, performs certification validations, and facilitates workshops and presentations related to Planetree’s evidence-based framework for person-centered excellence. She currently works with organizations across the U.S. and around the world and serves as the Lead Advisor to the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Health.
Prior to Planetree, Mandy spent her career working in various roles as a strategic resource for healthcare facilities to improve medical and surgical program efficiency, streamline complex perioperative care pathways and improve patient access and outcomes. Mandy’s experience includes work as a Surgical Program Director, the Regional VP of Sales for an e-Health start-up, and the Resource Development Director for global non-profit agency. She also spent several years as a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician. As a dedicated member of her community, Mandy is currently an elected member of the Shelton, CT Board of Education.
Mandy’s passion for her work at Planetree stems from her desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others. She knows that patients’ rights are human rights and is continually inspired by the transformation of the human experience that can be achieved through the implementation of Person-Centered practices.
