Awad Amayreh
Awad is a Manager of Risk and Quality Improvement at Communicable Disease Center (CDC), Hamad Medical Corporation. He has over 15 years of experience in quality/risk/safety management and JCI (Joint Commission International) accreditation. He has been a trainer for Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) since 2011. He is also a certified Improvement Advisor of IHI and an expert in implementing and introducing quality concepts in healthcare organizations.
In 2019, Awad was appointed as a Person-Centered Care Specialist in CDC on top of his current role. As a PCC Specialist, he is responsible for preparing CDC throughout the PCC certification process from planning, supervising, facilitating, up to the implementation of PCC practices. He has completed his master's degree in Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2015.
