Dr. Gustav Frans Strandvik
Dr. Gustav is Senior Consultant and co-Director in the Trauma Intensive Care Unit of Hamad General Hospital. He is also the co-director of the Trauma Critical Care Fellowship Program.
His primary areas of expertise within the hospital are Trauma Intensive Care and Medical Education. He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians, Fellow of the Royal College of Anesthetists, UK, and a founding Fellow of the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine, UK.
Dr. Gustav worked as a Consultant in the Southeast of England for several years, after specializing in London in 2009. He has authored several book chapters in critical care and anesthesia and has published articles in high impact peer-reviewed journals. His current research interests include similarities and differences in critical illness when the primary insult is trauma.
