Khadija Khalid Mohammed
Khadija is the Assistant Executive Director for Quality Improvement and Patient Safety at Ambulatory Care Center (ACC), Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC). Khadija completed her master's degree in Quality and Safety in Healthcare Management at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2016. She worked as a Peri-Operative nurse and soon became the youngest Qatari Head Nurse in HMC in 2014.
True to her vision of transforming the hospital culture in achieving higher quality by designing care through the patient's eyes, Khadija took the role of PCC Specialist in ACC in 2018. She established the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Department in ACC and guided the facility to its first Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation in 2019. She became a PCC fellow in 2021. She was instrumental in the successful transformation of ACC facility towards a Person-Centered care culture. Under her guidance and direction, ACC became the First PCC Gold-Certified facility in HMC, and she considers this as one of the greatest achievements in her career.
