Dr. Tulika Mehta Agarwal
Dr. Tulika works as the Clinical Psychologist in the Trauma Surgery section of Hamad General Hospital. She specializes in the treatment of post-traumatic stress and depression and has been trained in EMDR that is considered one of the best pieces of evidence based psychotherapeutic intervention for the same. She has led and successfully completed projects to assess the prevalence of depression in Spinal injury patients and PTSD in patients with traumatic injuries.
She is passionate for the mental health care of patients and the opportunity to play a positive role in re-integration of patients of traumatic injuries back into normal life, acts as the biggest driving force in her present work.
She is a registered psychologist in Qatar as well as in New Zealand. She holds a PhD degree and has over 18 years of experience in the field of Psychology.
