Mr. Salomon is a corporate nurse educator for the Nursing and Midwifery Education Department (NMED) at Hamad Medical Corporation. He has 11 years of experience in emergency care and seven years of experience as a nurse educator that teaches and guides emergency care nurses. He has a master’s degree in Nursing Administration and a Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education.
Currently, he is the nurse planner and lead for The Foundations in Emergency Nursing, The Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale and The Nurse and Midwife Preceptor Development Program. He facilitates educational activities and support nurses at Emergency Department HGH. He is also a member of the HMC Emergency Care Nursing Network.
His experience as an emergency care nurse and nurse educator has shaped his practice to continue to work with nurses and teach them the importance of safe patient care. He ensures that he is meeting the standards of NMED by adhering to its mission vision in promoting evidence-based practice for nurses working at HMC.
