Dr. Mahmoud A Zirie, MD, FACE, FACP
Dr. Zirie is a Senior Consultant and Head of Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism in the Dept. of Medicine, Hamad Medical Corporation, Doha Qatar. He is also an Assistant Professor of Medicine Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar and Head of the Scientific Committee of the Qatar Diabetes Association. He is certified in the following Boards: the American Board of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism, the American Board – Internal Medicine, the Arab Board – Internal Medicine and the Jordan Board – Internal Medicine.
He is a Fellow of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, the American College of Physicians, a member of Jordan Medical Association and a member of Qatar Diabetes Association. He has received several honors and awards from Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar Diabetes Association, the Environmental Friend Center, Doha, Qatar and the Youth and Sports Association, Doha, Qatar.
He has published more than 40 publications related to Diabetes Endocrinology and Metabolism in International peer reviewed journals.
