Dr. Yasser Hammad MBBCh/MSc/DM/ Liver Transplant Fellow of RCPC, leads the Anesthesia team for Solid Organ Transplant, HPB, Vascular and Thoracic surgery at Hamad General Hospital. He is a Professor of Anesthesia and Perioperative Medicine at Suez Canal University, Egypt and Ass. Prof. of Clinical Anesthesiology at Weill Cornell University, Qatar.
Dr. Yasser Hammad has many administrative duties as an active member in departmental and hospital research, quality/patient safety, guidelines and education committees. He was directly involved in the Anesthesia Department’s research and quality improvement activities. With his colleagues, Dr. Hammad shared the inauguration of the liver transplant service in Qatar.
