Morné Wolmarans

Dr. Morné Wolmarans is a Consultant of Anesthesiology at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital in the United Kingdom for the last 14 years.

Born in South Africa, Dr. Wolmarans studied medicine at the Uni-versity of Pretoria and began his medical practice in Cape Town. He then moved to Cambridge, London in 1997 and finished his specialization in Anesthesia.

Currently, he serves as President for the Regional Anesthesia group in the United Kingdom. He also serves as an ESRA board member, Vice Chairman of EDRA board, an examiner for the EDRA diploma and external examiner for the Master’s Program in regional anesthesia at the University of East Anglia.

His special interests include ultrasound, regional anesthesia and vascular anesthesia.
