Prof. Ahmed Emad Mahfouz, MD FRCR
Prof Ahmed Emad Mahfouz graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Cairo University, Egypt in 1983. He trained as radiology resident and obtained Master of Science (MSc) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) degrees in Radiology from Cairo University. He has been a Professor of Radiology at Cairo University since 2004. He had acquired two Body Imaging Fellowships from Germany (1990 to 1992) and France (1994 to 1995).
He is currently a Consultant Radiologist at Hamad Medical Corporation; Professor of Radiology, Cairo University; and an Associate Professor of Radiology, Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar.
Prof Mahfouz has published a number of articles and book chapters in radiology with emphasis on magnetic resonance imaging.
