Dr. Haya Almerekhi
MD is a consultant radiologist at hamad Medical Corporation
She was graduated from Arabian Gulf University, college of medicine, kingdom of Bahrain in 2002 then she joined clinical imaging department in HMC and obtained Arab board certificate in diagnostic and interventional imaging in 2010.
She has tow fellowship in breast and gynecology oncology imaging at hospital European Georges pompidou, Paris and institute de cancerlogie gustave roussy, Villejuif- France .
She had participated in two multi-cancer studies MIPA and EURADS.
Worked in collaboration with iCAD to developed new CAD system for tomosynthesis .dr. almerekhi is interested in particular interventional breast imaging and researches that evaluate new application in radiology to improve early detection of breast cancer and gynecology cancers.
