Nasser Al Naimi

Deputy Chief Quality Officer, Patient Experience and Co-Director for Hamad Healthcare Quality Institute, Hamad Medical Corporation

Nasser Al Naimi has worked at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) for over 20 years and has held a number of key positions within Materials Management and Hospital Commissioning prior to being appointed as Assistant Executive Director at Al Khor Hospital. In 2008, Al Naimi was part of the original team that developed the concept of a change and improvement vehicle within the corporation. Al Naimi was appointed as the Executive Director for the Center for Healthcare Improvement in 2011 and lead a team of experts in system transformation and service improvement. In 2014 Nasser became a part of a small team to developing the Hamad Healthcare Quality Institute which was subsequently launched at the Middle East Forum. In 2015 Nasser was appointed to two new roles as the Deputy Chief Quality Officer – Patient Experience and Co – Director Hamad Healthcare Quality Institute, in recognition of his ongoing commitment to enhancing patient care in HMC. Nasser has learnt from health systems across the world and has applied these learnings to design improvements across HMC. Nasser has complemented his extensive improvement knowledge with an EMBA from the University of Plymouth UK.
