Professor Badreldeen Ahmed

Professor Badreldeen is Director of the Feto Maternal Medicine Center in Doha, Qatar, Professor of Obstetrics at Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar and Interim Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology – Clerkship.

He was previously chairman of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Women’s Hospital, Hamad Medical Corporation, working there for over ten years and Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist (with special interest in perinatal medicine and high-risk pregnancy) at the Dorset County Hospital, Dorchester, Wessex region in the UK.

He is founding member of the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG) and board member of The World Association of Prenatal Medicine and

He is founder of the African Association of Perinatal Medicine and founder of the fellowship program in advanced training in Obstetrics and Gynecology (program of advanced training in obstetrics and gynecology involving trainees from all countries in the Middle East and the gulf region).

Professor Badreldeen’s main interests include fetal medicine and high risk pregnancy.

He has published over 50 papers in peer reviewed journals and is the editor of the “Basic book of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology”.
