HMC is rapidly transforming into the leading academic health system in the region. Research and education are becoming an integral part of HMC’s healthcare delivery model. Supporting innovation and development of new ideas from HMC staff is fundamental in developing an environment of inquisitive and intellectual enquiry alongside the operational delivery of healthcare (that underlines being an academic health system), linking in with HMC’s strategic vision to provide the best and safest care to its patients.

In support of this, the Academic Health System (AHS) Program Office, in collaboration with Qatar Foundation’s IP & Technology Transfer (QF IPTT) Office, is hosting an Intellectual Property (IP) and Innovation workshop.  The workshop will provide participants with knowledge on essential aspects of clinical and healthcare-related IP and technology transfer, how this relates to innovation and IP development in Qatar, and how to protect IP effectively.

For your convenience, we have scheduled five dates for the workshop to be repeated.  The same session will be held on each date, so please choose only one workshop date that suits your availability.  Spaces are limited and registration details are below.  Certificates of attendance will be provided for those who attend.
