Program Overview

The Pediatric Ophthalmology fellowship is a three-year program which aims to provide training for a comprehensive practice in all aspects of pediatric ophthalmology, including extensive experience with pediatric and adult strabismus. It emphasizes medical and surgical eye care for all children with ophthalmic diseases and management of adults with strabismus and disorders of ocular motility. The schedule balances clinical examination and surgical exposure with opportunities for research and resident teaching. Our pediatric ophthalmologists see many patients per year and perform various procedures per year. By the completion of the fellowship, we hope to have trained competent and compassionate clinicians that can become a leader in the field of pediatric ophthalmology.
