Our Dentistry Department is part of Hamad Dental Network, which is working to improve patient access to dental services across HMC. Our dedicated and motivated team work closely with several departments within the hospital (including emergency, day care, ENT, general surgery, plastic surgery and radiology) and attend to approximately 600 patients per month.
We do not provide regular general dental treatment and instead specialize in providing dental and oral and maxillofacial treatments for children and adults.
The department has five sections:- Endodontics (a specialty concerned with the inside structures of the tooth) and restorative dentistry
- Oral and maxillofacial surgery (surgery of the upper jaw)
- Pedodontics (children’s teeth)
- General dentistry
- Specialized dental radiology.
