The Communicable Disease Center (CDC) plays a pivotal role in the
prevention of transmissible diseases, as well as the treatment of them.
Working with the Ministry of Public Health the CDC supports several public
awareness and prevention programs, in addition to providing service to
limit the impact of communicable diseases on the population.
