    Clinical Care Improvement Training Program (CCITP) is an 8-9 months, Education and Training program under HHQI. The goal of the program is to build capacity and capability in the field of Quality Improvement. CCITP Cycle 18 Module 1 concluded on the 12th and 13th of February. It was two days of in-person sessions at Bayt Al Dhiyafah. A total of 68 MDT registered members from HMC and outside attended the module and gained new learnings and skills in various topics in the field of quality improvement.

    On day 1 of the training program, the participants learned about the Project Charter, Driver diagram, characteristics of an effective team, and behavioral styles at work. On day 2, the students learned about the process mapping principles and how to draw a process map. Brainstorming, Cause and Effect Diagram, and Pareto charts were taught in the classroom, and students had hands-on activities to learn new skills. Data collection and interpretation, Emotional intelligence, and Joy at Work were other topics that gave the students the required knowledge. During the Q&A session, many questions were raised and answered by the speakers. This session further improved their understanding of the subject. Simultaneously, each team is doing a Quality Improvement project under the guidance of dedicated coaches. They identified projects align with the organizational quality improvement strategies. 

    Post-session feedback is thoroughly reviewed and used as guidance to incorporate new topics to make the program more customer friendly. Module 2 is due on 10th & 11th May 2023.
