Clinics and Services

Hazm Mebaireek Dental Academic Center (HMDAC) is an educational facility jointly supported by Hamad Medical Corporation’s (HMC) Hamad Dental Center and Qatar University College of Dental Medicine. The dental facility offers a broad range of oral healthcare services in a state-of-the-art clinical setting while training the next generation of dental care professionals in Qatar.

The students will provide routine dental care to both adults and children, based on international best-practice standards of dental care. All treatment is provided under direct supervision of qualified dentists/specialists responsible for the student training. Treatment is delivered using a comprehensive and collaborative approach with patient being informed in advance of their treatment.

HMDAC has a limited number of places available for volunteers for free treatment by undergraduate dental students as part of their clinical education.

You can volunteer to become a patient. Patients will be selected based on the educational program requirements. To volunteer, you must first make an expression of interest by completing and submitting the online registration form below. We will need your name, address, telephone number, date of birth and doctor’s details to arrange a screening appointment for you where we can assess whether your dental and oral needs are suitable for student treatment.

Please note that no appointment can be made if any of these details are missing. Completing the form does not automatically guarantee you will be treated as this is subject to your eligibility and the availability of dental training options.

Thank you for your interest in receiving dental treatment at the student dental clinics at the Hazm Mebaireek Dental Academic Center (HMDAC).

The College of Dental Medicine is looking particularly for child patients, between 5 and 14 years of age, to support the educational program of our dental students at Hazm Mebaireek Dental Academic Center.

Your child can get a free orthodontic assessment in the Hazm Mebaireek Dental Academic Center and, if found to be eligible, will receive free high quality dental treatment under the supervision of pediatric specialists.

Does your child have orthodontic issues (such as crowding of teeth, overbite, or other spacing issues that could benefit from having braces)? Early orthodontic evaluation helps identify potential problems before they become real issues, so register early for a professional dental assessment.

To register please fill in the application form

* Patients who registered their interest should wait to be contacted to arrange a date and time for the screening appointment.
