The Non-Invasive Cardiology Department diagnoses and treats patients with heart disease using external medical methods rather than surgical (invasive) methods. This approach, for example, would apply to patients who have unidentified chest pain or a history of heart disease.
Our staff of 75 is made up of specialist professionals including physicians, technologists, technicians, nurses and support staff who work collaboratively to provide our patients with the highest quality of care and support.
We care for all adult cardiac patients. The level of care we provide is determined by the severity of the condition. We treat and care for patients who present with minor illness, who require treatment but are not critical. We also treat and care for patients with acute illness and injury (critical and needing immediate treatment). The services we provide include:
- Transesophageal Echocardiography Test (TEE)
- Transthoracic Echocardiography Test (TTE)
- Stress Echocardiography Test (SE)
- Dobutamine Stress Echocardiography Test (DSE)
- Treadmill Stress Test
- Ambulatory Holter Test
- Electrocardiograph (ECG)
