Heart Hospital remains committed to promoting heart health awareness and delivering the highest quality of person-centered cardiac care in the region through ongoing community collaborations.
Recently, Heart Hospital successfully conducted its 4th Medical Health Awareness Campaign at the Al Zahrawi Auditorium, engaging participants from The Center for Empowerment and Care of the Elderly (Ehsan) and the Center for Indian Community (CIC). The campaign aimed to raise awareness about heart health while accelerating efforts to prevent, detect early, and manage cardiovascular diseases in Qatar. With timely screening and intervention, survival rates among cardiac patients can be significantly improved.
A dedicated team of 28 doctors, 15 technicians, 10 nurses, and 5 support staff from Heart Hospital provided quality cardiac care to 98 participants. The campaign, held on 15 and 28 February 2025, catered to a total of 145 attendees from both Ehsan and CIC. Services offered included ECG, echocardiograms, consultations, and comprehensive assessments tailored to both communities.
The event also featured educational lectures delivered by expert cardiologists, along with sessions led by physiotherapists and occupational therapists. Through these initiatives, Heart Hospital continues to foster heart health awareness and strengthen its commitment to person-centered care.
