Mesaieed General Hospital (MGH) is a modern healthcare facility located in the south of Qatar. Strategically positioned to serve the communities of Mesaieed, Al Wakra and surrounding areas, MGH is a vital extension of Hamad Medical Corporation’s (HMC) commitment to delivering high-quality, specialised and compassionate care to patients across the country.

Since opening in 2020, MGH has evolved into the hub of HMC’s Mental Health Service and the National Diabetes Center. In addition to these specialties, the hospital offers outpatient clinics in dermatology, general medicine, gastroenterology, plastic surgery and neurology, serving Al Wakra, Mesaieed and Doha-based patients.

Parking


Free parking is available for patients and visitors.​​

Visiting Times


Mental Health inpatient wards: 11am to 8pm. Each visit should not exceed 30 minutes per patient. Children under 18 years of age are not allowed in the inpatients’ acute units.

To ensure the well-being and safety of all patients, Mental Health Unit visits require prior approval and may be restricted based on risk assessment and the patient’s legal status.
