Nesmaak Patient Help Desk
The Nesmaak Patient Help Desk is stationed at the main entrance of the National Center for Cancer Care and Research and is an integral department within the hospital. We are a team of Nesma’ak Customer Service Center representatives who welcome and provide information to patients and visitors.
The department takes great care in managing the process of comments, concerns and complaints raised by patients and visitors to the hospital. We pride ourselves in providing the highest quality customer service through our skilled, dedicated, compassionate and honest workforce. Our team does their utmost to ensure that patients get the best care experience possible when they visit the hospital.
With a main focus on people, and finding resolutions, the department’s mandate is to reduce the number of complaints relating to customer services. Part of our core set of responsibilities is ensuring that all individuals visting the hospital are given a warm welcome, provided with information about accessing patient care services, and can expect that their concerns or complaints will be resolved quickly and appropriately.
The Nesma’ak Customer Service Center representatives work across all NCCCR departments. The team has specialist knowledge concerning hospital services, patient admission/discharge and ensuring patients receive all necessary services through our prompt coordination with the appropriate medical care provider.
