On arrival at the hospital, you should report to the Outpatient Department reception desk with your appointment card and health card. There are two different admission areas for men and women which are adjacent to each other.

Before your appointment you may be asked questions relating to procedures or diagnostic investigations which may be required. Please do not hesitate to ask medical staff any questions you may have.

To provide you with the best and safest care possible to ensure optimal results, special preparation may be required for some procedures. The amount and type of preparation needed may vary depending on whether the procedure is a diagnostic examination or a treatment procedure.

Preparation for laboratory tests
You will be given specific guidance at the time for any preparation required for laboratory tests. These instructions will vary depending on the type of laboratory test required.

Preparation for preventive medical examinations

Details of specific preparations will be provided on the day on a case by case basis as they will vary depending on your condition and tests required.
