There are three stroke consultants in Doha at present. We are recruiting an additional three stroke neurologists and three endovascular neurologists in the stroke program in the next two years. The program will have two stroke fellows in the training program. In addition, we will be establishing an active bench research program to study collateral dynamics in a rat stroke model.
