The career village is the largest vocational event aimed at high school students, in corporation with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and KidZania Entertainment City.
As a result of the Department of Lab Medicine and Pathology accepting an invitation from the Qatar Career Development Centre, the department took part in the Career Village event from April 28–May 1, 2024. The DLMP gave insight into the many tasks and the significant function of the laboratory department in hospital and healthcare operations. Information on laboratory health services was presented to both male and female students. It is intended that this kind of event will educate them about the value of laboratory services and encourage their learning and interest in studying medicine and healthcare.
