The Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology (DLMP) this weekend marked the 8th Annual Laboratory Day with a special event the Sheraton Grand Doha. The event featured a speech by Dr. Einas Al Kuwari, Chairperson of the DLMP, a scientific speech on COVID-19 by Dr. Peter Valentine Coyle, Head of Virology at DLMP; a look at the Road Ahead for 2022 by Dr. Javed Akhter, Vice Chair, Operations of DLMP and a presentation about COVID-19 Laboratory Experience and Challenges by Dr. Zubaida Al Suwaidi, Head of the TB Lab. The event also featured an awards ceremony.
