Brent joined the Corporate Nursing team in March of 2013 as Assistant Executive Director of Nursing -Quality and Patient safety. During his 15 year career, he has worked clinically in a number of critical care settings, including emergency, intensive care and flight nursing as well as operationally and strategically in education, quality and patient safety. His career brought him to the Middle East in 2007 where he held the positions of Director of Nursing Quality and Magnet Program Director. In these roles, he and his team were successful in establishing the structures and processes to achieve outcomes at par with world leading healthcare services which led to the hospitals Magnet Recognition Program® designation. In his current role, Brent has led on the establishment of the quality governance framework for the healthcare system, implementing a suite of key performance indicators, clinical dashboard and committee governance, engaging frontline staff, to achieve excellence in patient care. Brent is passionate about nursing and the impact the profession has on the patient experience and health outcomes. He is focused on ensuring that the interdisciplinary teams provide the structures and processes to deliver world class outcomes.
