Dr. Mohammed Ataur Rahman completed his MBBS in 1992 and Diploma in Anesthesia in 1998 from India. Also he completed his Arab Board (Anesthesia/SICU) in April 2010, Hamad Medical Corporation. He worked as a senior resident in Anesthesia during 1998 to 2001 in Kasturba Hospital, New Delhi India. He worked as an Intensivist in King Fahad Hospital, Saudi Arabia from 2002 to 2004. During 2004 to 2010 he worked as a resident in Anesthesiology in Hamad Medical Corporation. He worked as a specialist in Anesthesiology from 2010 to 2013 in Hamad Medical Corporation. He started his fellowship in SICU at Hamad Medical Corporation from 2013 onwards and still continues. He has authored a number of book chapters in critical care and anesthesia, and has published articles in journals. He attended number of local and international conferences. He is an instructor in vascular access course and teaching residents in ICU.
